The computing performance of Kneron KL720 can be up to 1.5 TOPS, and there are two KL720 inside the VS8 AI. It is very easy to upgrade existing installed analog cameras with AI functions such as face, object, anti-tailgating, license plate recognition and more. 
 

AHD 1080P | TVI 1080P | CVBS Camera

Support AHD/TVI/CVBS formats and 1080p/720p/D1 streaming resolutions are selectable, and the performance is up to 240fps at 1080P resolution. RTSP streaming of Network cameras will be supported in the near future.

VS8 AI supports the latest video codec standard H.265/H.264, and audio codec AAC. It also has multiple interfaces such as BNC x8, Audio in x 4/out x 1, DI/O x 4, RS485, USB, and SDcard slot.
 

Third-party AI models are possible

Users can develop or transfer their AI models into VS8 AI via the Kneron platform. SMAX also provides License plate recognition/Face recognition/Object recognition AI models and allows our customers to use them easily.

The services via the Cloud are 100% anonymous based on Amazon secure cloud technology, in addition to PKI and SSL protection and local storage backup. OTA is also supported for quick and easy upgrades.
